Constant with 2 TDs late in Bryant's 45-40 win over Fordham (Sep 23, 2017)
SMITHFIELD, R.I. (AP) Jean Constant scored twice late in the game to seal the win as Bryant beat Fordham 45-40 on Saturday.
Constant caught an 80-yard scoring pass from Price Wilson after scoring a rushing touchdown on the team's previous drive that put the Bulldogs (2-2) on top for good with 13:16 left in the game.
Wilson finished with 398 yards and two touchdowns passing for the Bulldogs. Isaac McCray ran for 119 yards and two scores and Tom Kennedy scored two touchdowns, one rushing and one receiving.
Bryant trailed 34-31 with 2:35 left in the third quarter when Wilson took the team 79 yards in 11 plays and Constant scored from the 3 to put the Bulldogs up 38-34. On the team's next possession, Wilson hit Constant on third-and-12 for an 80-yard touchdown and Bryant led 45-34 with 10:37 left to play.
Kevin Anderson threw for 366 yards and five touchdowns for the Rams (1-3).
