Could backup QB Jerrard Randall play wide receiver for Arizona?
Arizona Wildcats backup quarterback Jerrard Randall played the fourth quarter vs. Nevada, where he impressed many across the nation.
Not only did he complete his only pass attempt, but he also ran for a 57-yard touchdown that caught the attention of Twitter and beyond. While Arizona's starting quarterback Anu Solomon doesn't appear to be in jeopardy of losing his starting gig, others may want to see more of Randall on the field in 2015.
"We're going to try and get him going more," said Arizona coach Rich Rodriguez, according to a report. "He's the quarterback, so obviously he knows the offense, and he should be able to play receiver. Jerrard knows quite a bit of it, and he can do all the pass plays too."
