Dantonio names players who have turned heads this spring

When is it good to be called out? When your coach is talking about players making moves during spring football.

Mark Dantonio did just that in a radio appearance on 92.1 FM in Lansing on Monday, and MLive.com relayed the pertinent details.

On the offensive side of the ball, players who have caught the head coach's eye include tight end Jamal Lyles, offensive lineman Miguel Machado and tailbacks Gerald Holmes and Madre London, who are competing to replace the graduated Jeremy Langford.

Defensively, Spartans who are looking to uphold the tradition of strong play under Dantonio's watch are ends Demetrius Cooper and Montez Sweat and cornerbacks Arjen Colquhoun and Vayante Copeland.
