David Shaw praises offensive line for play vs. Oregon State
Head coach David Shaw knows that in order for Stanford to be successful offensively, he needs his highly touted offensive line to play like one of the best units in the country.
For the third consecutive game, Shaw believes his guys up front are the reason the Cardinal are winning games.
Shaw could have pointed to the play of RB Christian McCaffrey or QB Kevin Hogan as the reason why Stanford took down Oregon State 42-24; however, Shaw went to straight for the offensive line, saying that the unit was fantastic.
"We played a defense that showed a lot of looks; we had to have constant communication; we made a lot of adjustments," Shaw said Friday night.
"There were a lot of things going on, and (line coach) Mike Bloomgren did a great job organizing everybody and getting back to being efficient in the running game."
