Michigan, Michigan State and Penn State are the finalists for the No. 2 player in the state of Michigan.

Lavert Hill, a four-star cornerback from Detroit King, announced his final three on Twitter and shared plans for announcing his final decision. That will be done Feb. 3 (National Signing Day) at his high school.

Hill committed to Penn State as a junior but subsequently reopened his recruitment in November, saying he felt he had decommitted too early.

His brother, Delano, is a starting safety at Michigan, and one of his high school teammates, Donnie Corley, enrolled at Michigan State earlier this month.

Corley is Scout.com's No. 1-rated player in the state.

MSU already has three of the top six players in the state enrolled or committed while the only in-state 2016 recruit set to be a Wolverine at this point is Detroit Cass Tech offensive lineman Michael Onwenu, Scout's No. 3 player.
