Double the fun: Missouri lands two commitments on Wednesday
Despite the unexpected news of defensive line coach Chris Wilson leaving for the same position with the Philadelphia Eagles, Barry Odom and his staff did receive some positive news on Wednesday.
Junior college receiver Dominic Collins pledged his services to Odom and the Tigers. Additionally, offensive lineman Trystan Castillo announced he will stick with his original commitment and play his college ball in Columbia.
Collins is a 6'3", 175-pound receiver from Saddleback Community College in Mission Viejo, Calif. Collins led his junior college with 78 receptions, 1,299 receiving yards and 14 touchdowns. A long and lengthy player, he may need some time to fill out in the upper body before contributing.

Castillo had been a longtime commitment to Mizzou -- before opening up things briefly. After looking at Iowa State and Minnesota, he opted to stay home and play for the Tigers.
At this point, Missouri has 16 commitments with a week until National Signing Day on Feb. 3. Look for Odom to push for more pledges as the week progresses in order to build depth within the roster.
