ESPN's Kirk Herbstreit redefines 'Clemsoning'

Published Oct. 31, 2015 1:43 p.m. ET

The term “Clemsoning,”entered the national spotlight following Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney’s epic rant after the Tigers 43-24 win over Georgia Tech earlier this year.

The phrase came about over the years as a way to define Clemson's act of losing big games. However, after the Tigers crushed Miami 58-0 last week to improve to 7-0 (4-0 ACC) and climb to No. 3 in the AP Top 25 Poll, ESPN's Kirk Herbstreit redfined the phrase.

On Saturday, the college football analyst said, "The new 'Clemsoning' is kicking some butt and taking some names."

The Tigers will be back in action today when they play at N.C. State (5-1, 1-2 ACC) at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
