Even with loss, Mizzou could feature in bowl game

At 5-6, Missouri is one victory away from a bowl appearance. A win this weekend at Arkansas would (for all intents and purposes) guarantee the Tigers with a shot at postseason play. 

However, Gary Pinkel's team still may feature in a bowl with a loss -- and a 5-7 record. 

There are 41 bowl games slated for this season. As of now, there are 71 bowl-eligible teams -- leaving the possibility of some 5-7 teams garnering a bid. 

One would think Missouri would do anything it could in order to get Pinkel one last game as head coach of the Tigers. During his career in Columbia, Pinkel has won six of 10 bowl games.
