Feldman's Heisman Top 5: Zeke one of two new names on the list

A crazy Saturday in college football didn’t shake up the Heisman Top 5 much. It’s still a running back-heavy field.

1. Leonard Fournette, RB, LSU: Still my clear top guy, Fournette ran for 233 on EMU, the worst run defense in the country. On the season, he’s averaging 216 yards per game and has scored 11 TDs in four games.

2. Trevone Boykin, QB, TCU: His team blew Texas off the field and were up 30-0 in the first quarter. The dynamic dual-threat QB went for five TDs and no picks to give him a 19-3 TD-INT ratio for the unbeaten Horned Frogs.

3. Myles Garrett, DE, Texas A&M: The disruptive D-lineman is a huge reason why the Aggies have the most improved defense in the country and again made big-impact plays to keep A&M unbeaten as they took down Mississippi State.

4. Ezekiel Elliott, RB, Ohio State: Had been quiet for a while and then ran wild in the second half against Indiana when the Buckeyes O desperately needed a jolt, going for 274 yards and three TDs.

5. Jared Goff, QB, Cal: My last spot was a tough call between OU QB Baker Mayfield, UGA RB Nick Chubb and ’Bama RB Derrick Henry, but ultimately I’ll go with the pinpoint Cal passer who has led the Bears to its first 5-0 start since 2007. Against Washington State, he threw for 390 and four TDs, going 33 for 45.
