Feldman's Top 10: Alabama's back but where do the Tide land?

Editor's note: Each week, Bruce Feldman and Stewart Mandel will break down their top 10 teams based on the most recent slate of games. Here are Feldman's rankings after Week 7:

1. Utah: Struggled early with a decent ASU team but then the Utes took control to notch another solid win.

2 Baylor: Seth Russell runs for 160 yards and passes for 380 and five TDs against a respectable WVU D as the Bears blew another team out, winning 62-38.

3. LSU: Beat previously undefeated Florida behind another big game from Leonard Fournette and some really good play from QB Brandon Harris.

4. Clemson: How good is QB Deshaun Watson and Co.? Boston College's defense had only allowed two TDs in its first six games and 140 total yards per game (best in the nation). Unbeaten Clemson scored four TDs and had over 500 yards on 'em.

5. TCU: A close game at Iowa State turned into a 45-21 romp behind another huge week for Trevone Boykin and Josh Doctson. The Horned Frogs amassed 621 yards, marking the fifth time in seven games they've eclipsed the 600-yard mark.

6. Ohio State: The Buckeyes blew out Penn State in the second half to stay undefeated but they did have their hands full with RB Saquon Barkley. A lot of folks will have that problem.

7. Florida State: Dalvin Cook was terrific as was Everett Golson (26-for-38, 372 yards passing, 3 TDs) as the 'Noles thumped a mediocre Louisville team.

8. Michigan State: Found a way to win at Michigan, somehow. The Spartans have scuffled in just about every game but remain undefeated.

9. Alabama: Got three Pick-6s to beat previously undefeated Texas A&M at home, although their one loss -- at home -- came to now two-loss Ole Miss.

10. Stanford: I picked the Cardinal just over Iowa and Memphis, as David Shaw's team is being sparked by the spectacular Christian McCaffrey and a good secondary.
