Five from FCS added to NFLPA Collegiate Bowl

(STATS) - Liberty quarterback Josh Woodrum was among five FCS players announced Friday to the fifth annual NFLPA Collegiate Bowl on Jan. 23 in Carson California.

Woodrum, a four-year starter, ended his career as the Big South Conference's all-time leader in passing yards with 10,266. He threw 61 touchdowns.

Joining Woodrum as FCS additions to the game were Harvard tight end Ben Braunecker, Incarnate Word linebacker Myke Tavarres and defensive tackles Helva Matungulu of Western Carolina and Greg Milhouse of Campbell.

Previous announced participants from the FCS were linebackers Akil Blount of Florida A&M and Darnell Sankey of Sacramento State, Northwestern State quarterback Stephen Rivers, Hampton offensive lineman Torian White and Sam Houston State punter Lachlan Edwards.
