TOWSON, Md. (AP) — Shane Simpson returned the opening kick 96 yards for a touchdown and Tom Flacco threw four touchdown passes as Towson upset Stony Brook in a Colonial Athletic Association showdown Saturday.

Simpson ran eight yards for a touchdown and Flacco hit Chris Clark from 12-yards out to give Towson (4-1, 2-0) a 21-0 lead after a quarter.

Joe Carbone brought the Seawolves back with two long touchdown passes, 53 yards to Marshall Ellick and 25 yards to Donald Liotine, to make it 21-14, but Flacco answered with a pair of touchdown passes of his own to make it 35-14 at intermission.
