Florida adds graduate transfer Anthony Harrell from Georgia Tech
Florida has added an experienced linebacker, as Georgia Tech's Anthony Harrell announced via Twitter on Friday that he will be transferring to Gainesville for his fifth and final season.
Harrell, who is eligible immediately as a graduate transfer, was a rotational player last year, appearing in all 13 of the Yellow Jackets' games and making 19 tackles.
The announcement came in odd fashion, with Harrell responding to a post from the official Georgia Tech account that he had been suspended indefinitely for a violation of team rules. Harrell claimed that the post was a lie and that he is simply headed elsewhere, with Florida the beneficiary of his decision.
@GeorgiaTechFB yea that's a lie get your facts right. I've chosen to leave and play my fifth year elsewhere. pic.twitter.com/KYQmqA7wlJ

The 6-foot-2, 237-pound Harrell might end up taking on a bigger role this year with the Gators than he ever did with the Yellow Jackets, as Florida has limited depth at linebacker following the graduation of starters Neiron Ball and Michael Taylor.
