Forget 2016: Bruins pick up pledge from 4-star 2017 DE Echols
With the class of 2016 squarely in the rear-view mirror (as of 24 hours ago), Jim Mora and the UCLA Bruins wasted no time in turning their attention to the '17 class.

With 364 days until he's slated to sign his letter of intent, 2017 defensive end prospect Hunter Echols committed to the Bruins.
A Los Angeles native from Cathedral High School, the Scout.com 4-star chose UCLA over 11 other early offers -- including from the likes of Arizona, Cal, Utah, and Washington.
I am now a recurring coordinator lol #PlayforCoachHunter ???

Echols possesses dynamic pass-rushing skills off the edge. Noted for his quickness and athleticism, he's already built himself into a national recruit.
While there's nearly a year until he can make this decision "official,", it appears as if his commitment to the Bruins is rock-solid. Echols is the fifth public commitment for UCLA in the 2017 class -- joining high school teammate Rhedi Short, Javaris Steward, Jaquan Henderson, and Rahyme Johnson.
