SALT LAKE CITY (AP) Former BYU receivers coach Guy Holliday has accepted the same position at Utah.

Utah coach Kyle Whittingham announced the hiring on Wednesday. Holliday became available after former BYU coach Bronco Mendenhall accepted the head coaching position at Virginia.

Also, Lewis Powell moves from tight ends coach to defensive line coach, and Fred Whittingham Jr. takes over the tight ends after serving as Utah's director of player personnel the last four years.

Holliday has coach wide receivers for 18 years at five different schools, including Mississippi State. He has also been the offensive coordinator at Alabama State and Tuskegee.
