Former FSU QB John Franklin commits to Auburn as an early enrollee
Auburn is now in line to get some potential help at quarterback via the junior college ranks this offseason, as athlete John Franklin III committed to the Tigers Wednesday:

Franklin currently plays for East Mississippi Community College - the same school current Ole Miss quarterback Chad Kelly attended in 2014 - after leaving Florida State last offseason due to lack of playing time.
Franklin split his time at both quarterback and receiver in Tallahassee and now plays quarterback for EMCC. Known for his athleticism, Franklin's commitment and approach to the game is unquestioned after helping the Seminoles prepare for both Nick Marshall and Marcus Mariota playing both roles for the scout team in 2013 and 2014, according to the Tallahassee Democrat.
Whether Franklin stays at quarterback or moves to another position at Auburn will remain a question moving forward, but after the Tigers' struggles on offense this season, a player with his level of dual-threat capabilities is likely to be given every opportunity to see the field next season.
