Former Miami Hurricanes offensive lineman Taylor Gadbois has found a new home nearly less than a month after he was dismissed from the program by Miami head coach Al Golden.

Gadbois, a 6-8, 320-pound rising junior, announced on Twitter that he has committed to Southeastern Louisiana, an FCS school in the Southland Conference.

On Monday Gadbois tweeted, “Excited to say I have committed to southeastern Louisiana.. Ready for this next stop ... Time to win.”

According to several reports, Gadbois was facing a five-game suspension for the 2015 season before Miami decided to dismiss him from team.

“They didn’t feel I was being positive enough with the team, with the young guys, which I completely disagree with,” Gadbois told the Palm Beach Post at the time. “I mean, I work with these guys every single day. I’m in a group text with the team and everybody’s just bewildered by it. Everybody’s just blown away.”

In a press release after the dismissal Golden said that Gadbois “is a bright young man and we wish him the best in his future academic and athletic endeavors."

Gadbois could be eligible to play at the FBS level in 2016 if he finishes the year at an FCS school.
