Former Mountaineers making positive impressions at NFL minicamps
It's only been two weeks since four former West Virginia player were selected in the 2015 NFL Draft, but they're already in the thick of showcasing their talents for their respective teams in hopes of landing a spot high on the depth chart.
Blue Gold News recently published a piece that checks in on the former Mountaineers' progress so far, and maintains that they're making positive impressions on their respective coaching staffs.
Receiver Kevin White, who signed a four-year deal with the Chicago Bears after they drafted him in the second round, appears to have not missed a beat from his days at West Virginia.
Meanwhile, White's former partner-in-crime on the receiving corps at WVU, seventh-round selectee Mario Alford, has impressed the Cincinnati Bengals with his impressive speed and athleticism, and he'll likely be a candidate for the Bengals' return game this season.

Over in Seattle, offensive lineman Mark Glowinski seems to be fitting well into the Seahawks' offense after they picked him up with their fourth-round pick.
"It's kind of similar to stuff I've been doing," Glowinski said. "I like the fast pace of their offense. I was on a great team and now I'm going to a great team. I couldn't have a better feeling."
Although, he's still learning the Seahawks' traditions.

A former Mountaineer lineman on the other side of the ball, Shaq Riddick, seems to be adapting well to a position change to outside linebacker for the Arizona Cardinals.
"It's not that big of a deal," Riddick said of the change. "It's just something different that I've just got to keep practicing. You know, the more practices you get, the better you're going to get with things. So it's just more reps and more practice with it. I'll be alright. I'm athletic enough to do it, so I've just got to keep practicing with it."
Riddick signed a four-year deal with the Cardinals on Tuesday.
