Former Wisconsin Star JJ Watt Could be out for Season
Former Wisconsin Star Could Miss Remainder of Season With Back Injury
Wisconsin Football legend JJ Watt may miss the remainder of the season with a back injury. Watt injured his back earlier in the season, and had surgery in late July in hopes for making a full season return. Unfortunately for Watt it appears that he has re-injured his back and will be out until December, if not the remainder of the season.

The three time NFL Defensive player of the year being placed on Injured Reserved means that he will miss a minimum of eight weeks. Watt was a non factor in last Thursday’s lost and fans started to question whether he was fully healthy.
Sadly for the Houston Texans, the worst came out of it and it seems as though Watt will likely miss the rest of the season. This is both devastating news for a struggling Houston Texans team who will be without their best player, but also for Wisconsin fans who have followed JJ’s career closely since transitioning to the NFL. Watt was arguably one of the best Badgers to ever suit up at UW. He was the first of a family legacy at Wisconsin as fullback Derek Watt is now with the San Diego Chargers, and brother TJ Watt has now emerged as one of Wisconsin’s biggest stars currently. We wish you a speedy recovery, JJ!
