Former WR Moe offers his vote on next Mizzou head coach
Former Missouri wide receiver T.J. Moe has often been an outspoken individual on many issues pertaining to his alma mater.
Staying true to form, he tweeted out his thoughts on whom the new Missouri head coach should be at the conclusion of the season. His answer: current defensive coordinator Barry Odom.
It's hard to argue with the impact Odom's had on the program. He was a player in Columbia during the '90's, coached as an assistant from 2003-11, and recently came back to Missouri in 2014.
He understands what it means to be "Mizzou Made" -- a tagline often associated with the minutiae inside the program.
Missouri currently ranks No. 8 overall in total defense -- in large part to Odom's tutelage. Should he be hired on as the head coach, continuity would continue within the squad -- something that would theoretically ease the transition away from current head coach Gary Pinkel.
