FSU Alum Jalen Ramsey Gets First Career NFL Interception Sunday
Former FSU star Jalen Ramsey got his first career interception as a pro early in the second quarter of Jacksonville’s game against Houston.
All season long, current Jacksonville Jaguars defensive back and former FSU All-American star Jalen Ramsey has been making plays in the secondary – but he still hadn’t been able to come up with his first interception as a NFL player.
You can now get rid of that fact, as Ramsey was able to get his first pick as a pro Sunday. Early in the second quarter of Jacksonville’s AFC South matchup with the Houston Texans, Jalen was able to get ahold of a Brock Osweiler pass and returned it 35 yards:

The interception would set up a Jaguars field goal. On Houston’s next drive, Osweiler would be intercepted again – this time by another former FSU star, Telvin Smith, which would set up a touchdown – and be benched as a result.
Ramsey’s pick was the first interception for Jacksonville since Week Four against the Indianapolis Colts – all the way back on October 2nd. The Jaguars also had their first kickoff return for a touchdown in the game, the first time the team had done that since the 2007 season.
