The Arkansas Razorbacks got to celebrate the Fourth of July a little extra this year as their holiday came with the added bonus of a commitment from offensive line prospect Jake Heinrich.

The six-foot-four, 285-pound Heinrich is a rated as a four-star prospect by 247 Sports and features an impressive list of national offers ranging from Oregon, Cal, Duke, Kansas State to Florida Atlantic.

Heinrich spoke to Rivals on his decision to commit to the Razorbacks.

"I have decided I will be attending the University of Arkansas," Heinrich said. "I just think that is a great fit for me. I think it is a place that will be ideal for my development as an offensive lineman and I'm looking forward to getting down there."

The Urbandale, Iowa native indicated his visit to Fayetteville with his parents sealed the deal for Arkansas.

"The whole visit was special," Heinrich said. "I really loved talking with Coach (Bret) Bielema. He sat down with my parents and I for probably a total of two hours over the course of roughly a day and a half. He really shared a lot of his values with us as well. My parents loved what kind of a family he is."

The Razorbacks' highly regarded offensive line coach Sam Pittman also played a part in the commitment.

"Coach Pittman really has a confidence about him that I love. He knows he is the best and he knows his group is the best. I think this coming year Arkansas is going to have the best offensive line in the country and I want to be a part of it as soon as possible."

It appears the future of the Hogs line is in good hands with Heinrich now on board.

"I had a lot of good visits," Heinrich said. "I enjoyed every single one of my visits and loved meeting every single coach, but at the end I kept coming back to Arkansas. Especially as an offensive lineman, I realized there was no better place to be."
