Garnett, Martinez named to Lombardi Award watch list

Stanford linebacker Blake Martinez and offensive lineman Joshua Garnett have been named to the 2015 Lombardi Award watch list.

The Lombardi Award is presented annually to the best collegiate player who lines up no more than a few yards off of the line of scrimmage. Last season, Arizona's Scooby Wright took home the award.

Martinez, a senior, is Stanford's best linebacker and has been named to numerous watch lists so far this offseason. Garnett, also a senior, has been named preseason All-Pac-12 first team by Athlon Sports and Phil Steele.
