Gildan New Mexico Bowl Live Stream: Watch New Mexico vs UTSA Online
Here’s how you can watch the Gildan New Mexico Bowl online live from Albuquerque between New Mexico and UTSA on December 17.
The New Mexico Lobos will be staying at home for their postseason berth, as they will play in Albuquerque in the Gildan New Mexico Bowl on the opening Saturday of the 2016-2017 bowl calendar. The Lobos feature the top rushing attack in the nation, led by 1200-yard rusher Teriyon Gipson. As a whole the team averages over 360 yards per game on the ground.
Bob Davie’s team won six of its last seven games to reach their second consecutive New Mexico Bowl. Last year they lost a 45-37 thriller to Arizona. This time around they square off against the UTSA Roadrunners, who are playing in their first bowl game in school history. Under first-year head coach Frank Wilson, the Roadrunners finished second behind Louisiana Tech in C-USA West and gave scares to both Arizona State and Texas A&M.
Both teams will be excited just to be playing in a bowl game, and their different styles each provide plenty of fireworks moments in their own way. But the New Mexico Bowl is also infamous for close finishes, with six out of the first ten editions won by a single score. Here is how you can watch the New Mexico Bowl online.

Key Matchup to Watch: New Mexico’s rushing attack has been tops in the nation, and in its last outing the Lobos ripped off over 500 yards against MWC Mountain champion Wyoming. UTSA’s defense is actually ranked a respectable 52nd against the run, but they will have to play their best game of the season to contain Teriyon Gipson, Tyrone Owens, and the rest of the dangerous UNM backfield.
