Gundy: 'We would have beat LSU by 21 (in 2011)'

2011 still weighs heavily on Oklahoma State head coach Mike Gundy's mind. The 11-1 Cowboys were left out of the national championship game in favor of a SEC rematch of number two Alabama and number one LSU.

Gundy recently spoke about his disappointment with the Tulsa World.

How would the Big 12 champions have fared if given a shot against number LSU in the 2012 BCS National Championship Game? "I don't think there's any question that we would have won by three touchdowns." Gundy said. "We could score with anybody."

He must mean anybody but Iowa State.
