Harris, Fournette staying positive despite loss to Alabama

The 30-16 loss to Alabama last weekend was a considerable body-blow for LSU in a number of ways.

For one, it was a literal body-blow. Alabama was the more physical team, and dominated up front on both sides of the ball. This premise is perfectly illustrated by the fact the Crimson Tide held LSU running back Leonard Fournette to 31 yards rushing on 19 carries. Fournette's previous rushing-low on the year was 150 yards.

Secondly, the loss gives Alabama the upper-hand when it comes to winning the SEC West Division. If the Tigers are to make the conference championship game in Atlanta, they must win out and hope that Alabama stumbles somewhere in conference play (perhaps against Mississippi State this weekend?).

There's still plenty to play for -- a sentiment echoed by both Fournette and signal-caller Brandon Harris. According to Fournette, "Just know that we're going to come back. Everybody [is acting] like it's the end of the world. We have three more games to play and just know the Tigers are going to give it all for these people [in] the last three games.

LSU could have an extra bit of motivation heading into this weekend's game against Arkansas. Bret Bielema's team blanked the Tigers last year by a score of 17-0. Heading back home to Tigers Stadium will surely make for an exciting atmosphere in Baton Rouge on Saturday.
