On Saturday, a moment that many college football fans have been waiting for occurred, and it had nothing to do with the "Battle at Bristol." Instead, it happened early in the morning when Art Briles spoke extensively for the first time publicly since being removed as Baylor's head football coach back in May.

The interview aired on ESPN's "College GameDay" with Tom Rinaldi asking some very difficult questions of the Baylor head coach. Below in its entirety is what Briles said during the interview.

It began with Rinaldi citing one of the victims of the numerous sexual assaults by football players that occurred on campus during Briles' watch. The young lady, referencing Briles said, "There's no way that guy didn't know" [what was going on with his team].

From there, the conversation continued, when Rinaldi referenced a 2011 case in which a Baylor volleyball player was sexually assaulted by multiple members of the football team. Here is what Briles said, when he was asked "what did you know about the incident?"

Rinaldi then followed up: Why was it sketchy?

Rinaldi then discussed the report that was released by Pepper Hamilton, a private law firm that was brought in to investigate the school, football team and Briles. In it was an especially strong statement about the team posing a risk to campus safety. Here is what Briles said in response to that.

Rinaldi followed up by asking whether Baylor did everything it could to prevent such incidents.

Next, Briles was asked the question that so many mothers and fathers across the country want to know: If some or all of the victims were sitting with Briles in that room, what would he say to them?

And what does Briles think they'd say to him?

Finally, Rinaldi wrapped up the interview with a few more, quick questions.

He asked Briles what responsibility he feels for the actions of his football team.

What did he, Briles lose, after being terminated as Baylor's head coach?

And finally, Briles was asked what he believes the "Briles name"means to people now.

ESPN will air more of the interview on Monday.
