Horned Frogs lose one WR for the season, another likely a few weeks
The devastating injuries that have depleted No. 3 TCU's defense are now wreaking havoc on the Horned Frogs' talented receiving corps.
Following Saturday's incredible 55-52 win over Texas Tech, TCU coach Gary Patterson revealed that receiver Ty Slanina, who caught two passes for 32 yards in the win, will likely miss the remainder of the season, while Emanuel Porter is likely to miss a few weeks. Porter was injured the one pass he caught.
Patterson said WR Ty Slanina is probably out for the season. WR Emanuel Porter will most likely be out a few weeks, Patterson said #TCU

TCU was already playing its Big 12 opener without star receiver Kolby Listenbee, who has been bothered by a hip injury. When asked if he'll be able to return for next week's home game against Texas, Patterson said, "I hope so."
On the defensive side, where Patterson is plugging injury holes just about everywhere, cornerback Torrance Mosley was supposed to start but he turned his ankle late in the week, Patterson told reporters.
