Houston Baptist's Shealy gets 3-year extension

(STATS) - Houston Baptist announced it has given coach Vic Shealy a three-year contract extension on Thursday.

The new deal extends Shealy through June 2021.

Shealy arrived at Houston Baptist in 2012 to start the program from scratch. After playing a developmental season in 2013, the Huskies are 8-35 through four seasons.

Last season, they were 1-10 overall and 0-9 in the Southland Conference.
