Nebraska looks to rebound from a blowout loss to Ohio State as they face Big Ten West rival Minnesota.
The Cornhuskers were blown out 62–3 as senior quarterback Tommy Armstrong, Jr. suffered a head injury after banging his head on the turf. Armstrong is in concussion protocol and questionable against Minnesota.
Nebraska is currently in a three-way tie with Minnesota and Wisconsin and needs victory to stay in the hunt for the division title.
Minnesota has a four-game winning streak and has taken advantage of the streak by beating on the Big Ten's lower-tier teams. The Gophers defense could be the key to game, as it ranks third in the NCAA in turnover margin and have 21 takeaways, fifth in the nation.
The Gophers have won two of the last three meetings between the schools.
