Navy and Temple will square off the American Athletic Championship on Saturday, a game that could have New Year's Six and bowl positioning implications.

Navy routed SMU 75–31 last week to post its fourth straight victory. Navy continues to pound the ball on the ground, rolling up 60 points in two straight games while 342 yards on the ground.

Temple is making its second straight appearance in the championship game after losing to Houston in inaugural conference title game. The Owls have won six games in a row, including posting two shutouts.
