Huskers nab second 2016 QB commit with Patrick O'Brien
Quarterbacks can make or break your recruiting classes. The Nebraska Cornhuskers are currently sitting pretty after getting their second quarterback commitment from pro-style prospect Patrick O'Brien.
The California gunslinger gave his commit in person to offensive coordinator Danny Langsdorf on Thursday. He is currently a three-star prospect according to Scout.com and is the 31st rated quarterback. Listed at 6'4" and 225 pounds, he threw for 2,100 yards and rushed 143 for 650 yards in 2014.
It doesn't take watching much of O'Brien's film to understand why the coaching staff wants him in Lincoln. Just check out the very first throw on the highlight tape below.
