Huskies get commitment from 4-star LB Camilo Eifler

The Washington Huskies have landed a major commitment from 4-star LB Camilo Eifler. 

Eifler, who is from Oakland, Calif., is the No. 13 outside linebacker in the class, per 247 Sports, and the No. 173 player in the 2016 class.

Here's what Eifler had to say about Washington earlier this week:

“I feel like I can really contributed to their program defensively,” Eifler told Scout.com. “I kind of model myself after Shaq Thompson (with his) body type and speed and athleticism. What he did at that program, I feel like I can do the same. And Coach Petersen is doing a great job coming in there and building the program. … They’ve recruited me probably one of the hardest.”

Eifler chose the Huskies over offers from Oregon, UCLA, Michigan, Texas A&M and others.
