While Chris Petersen may have taken the stage at Pac-12 Media Days, it's clear that his coaching staff was focused on recruiting.

The Huskies nabbed two 2016 commitments on Thursday. The first came from 3-star cornerback Kentrell Love. The second from offensive lineman Nick Harris.

Love, a 6'2" cornerback from Centennial High School outside of Los Angeles, confirmed him commitment to Scout.com. After being prompted by Dawgman.com, Love said "Yes sir, I just committed to U-Dub. I called coach (Jimmy) Lake and told him I wanted to commit and he was fired up. He said he wished he could coach me this year."

Love had other offers from Arizona, ASU, Cal, Colorado, Nebraska, Oregon State and SDSU.

Harris, a 6'1", 275 pound lineman from JSerra High School, committed to the Huskies late on Thursday, just a couple of days after receiving an offer. He will join JSerra teammate Luke Wattenberg at Washington.
