Idaho State to face Pac-12 pair in 2016

(STATS) - Idaho State will play two Pac-12 teams as part of an 11-game 2016 schedule announced Wednesday.

The Bengals, who went 2-9 this year and 1-7 in the Big Sky Conference, hope to rebound with a schedule that kicks off Sept. 3 with a home game against Division II Simon Fraser.

Coach Mike Kramer's team will then travel to Colorado on Sept. 10 and Oregon State on Sept. 17, giving the Bengals two FBS opponents for the second consecutive season.

The Big Sky portion of the schedule will begin against Sacramento State on Sept. 24. It is one of five home games at Holt Arena.
