Illinois Sports: Ex-Illini Coach Offers Support For Crouch

Here is the Illinois Sports news from around the country and around the internet.

During Saturday’s game against the Purdue Boilermakers, quarterback Wes Lunt fell to an injury.  This usually hurts a team’s chances to win a game when their starting quarterback goes down.

But, Chayce Crouch came into the game and lit the world on fire.  He was great through the air and on the ground for the Illini.

The Illinois women’s volleyball team went to Madison, Wisconsin on Saturday to take on the Wisconsin Badgers in what was a great volleyball match.

    Wisconsin was ranked No. 2 in the nation and this would have been a huge victory for the Illini.  But, Illinois fell just short of the Badgers but it wasn’t for a lack of effort.
