Indiana football announced Monday the addition of Wesley Green, a former four-star prospect who is transferring from South Carolina.

Green, a graduate of Lithonia (Ga.) Martin Luther King, will sit out this season as he satisfies NCAA transfer rules but could be a big part of the Hoosiers' secondary in the future.

"We welcome him to our program," head coach Kevin Wilson said in a team press release. "He's a talented young man and he will be a quality contributor."

Green was the No. 21 cornerback prospect in the class of 2014 according to Scout.com and the No. 7 CB in the South.
