Indiana kicker Griffin Oakes shows how to handle a controversy
Indiana kicker Griffin Oakes displayed some dismay his 38-yard field-goal attempt was ruled no good Saturday, giving Duke a 44-41 win over the Hoosiers in the Pinstripe Bowl in New York City.
That's certainly understandable considering the emotion of the moment and how close the kick was to going through the uprights and forcing another overtime.
A day later, Oakes expressed his thoughts on social media.

Oakes could have won the game in regulation, but his 56-yard attempt was no good.
The tough finish at Yankee Stadium capped a great season for the Hoosier, who was named the Big Ten Kicker of the Year in early December.
During conference play, Oakes led the Big Ten with 15 made field goals, and his 88.2-percent success rate was also the best in the league.
