(STATS) - Despite a winless season last year, Indiana State hasn't stopped thinking forward.
The Sycamores have agreed to a 2023 matchup at Georgia, according to FBSchedules.com. It would give the Missouri Valley Football Conference member a game against an FBS team in every season through 2027.
A date for the first-ever meeting between the two programs at Sanford Stadium in Athens has yet to be determined. Indiana State will receive a $500,000 guarantee for the game, FBSchedules.com said.
The Sycamores went 0-11 in coach Curt Mallory's first season last year.
