Indiana suspended nine players for its Saturday game against Southern Illinois: Tyler Burgett, Will Dawkins, Tim Gardner, Greg Gooch, Ralph Green III, Isaac Griffith, Darius Latham, Alex Rodriguez and Tegray Scales.

"They have not lived up to their responsibilities to the program," the university said in a statement. "We will have no further comment regarding this matter."

Indiana went on to win, 48-47. Southern Illinois scored a late touchdown, then elected to go for two in an attempt to win the game. The attempt failed.
