Is Arizona State on upset alert vs. Colorado this weekend?
Arizona State is coming off a season-saving victory over UCLA; Colorado just played its best game against Oregon since joining the Pac-12.
When these two Pac-12 South teams meet on Saturday, could ASU be on upset watch? Colorado has looked impressive on the ground, though lost their leading tackler to injury. ASU prevented the run with great success vs. UCLA, holding Paul Perkins to a season-low 3.5 yards per carry.
"If the CU defense can force a turnover or two, somehow slow down Richard and Ballage, and flip the field once or twice, the Buffs can stay in this game into the 4th quarter and give themselves a chance to make those extremely elusive winning plays," writes SB Nation's Pacific Takes.
"Saturday night presents yet another opportunity for the Buffaloes to break out and earn that signature win. The same question remains, do they have enough in the tank to seize it?"
