Is Tennessee primed to land talented '17 California offensive lineman?
Although based in California -- quite a ways away from Tennessee -- 2017 offensive line prospect Kanan Ray has immense love for the Volunteers football program.
Taking to Twitter on Friday, the Sierra Canyon High School product announced he had received an offer from his "childhood dream school."

Ray's family is from The Volunteer State, and his uncle featured on Tennessee's 1998 National Championship team. Although he grew up on the opposite coast, those familial ties surely run deep.
At 6-foot-4, 275 pounds, Ray can play virtually anywhere along the offensive line (save for center). He's physical, quick, and athletic enough to compete early in his career.
While no timetable has been made in regards to his recruitment, this offer surely will give Ray a lot to think about. At this point, UCLA looks like the other top contender for his services.
