JACKSONVILLE, Ala. (AP) Eli Jenkins threw for 212 yards and two scores and ran for 130 yards and three touchdowns as Jacksonville State overwhelmed Murray State 42-20 on Saturday.

The Gamecocks clinched their fifth Ohio Valley Championship last week with a 56-28 win over Southeast Missouri.

The only time Jenkins wasn't involved in a score for Jacksonville State (10-1, 8-0 Ohio Valley Conference) was when Troymaine Pope ran 22 yards for the first touchdown of the game.

Jenkins' fumble led to the Racers' first touchdown when Demetrius Mason recovered the ball at the Gamecocks' 1 and scored to make it 21-13 with 9:51 left in the third quarter.
