Jake Butt headlines Michigan offensive All-Big Ten award winners

Michigan tight end Jake Butt was the biggest winner among the Wolverines on Tuesday night when offensive All-Big Ten awards were announced.

Butt was named the Big Ten Tight End of the Year after leading all conference players at his position in receptions (4.0 per game) and receiving yards (51.7 per game).

He is the second Michigan player to win the award since its inception in 2011. Devin Funchess won it in 2013.

Joining Butt on the All-Big Ten first team offense was receiver Jehu Chesson despite not appearing in the top 10 in the league in receptions or yards. The senior averaged 3.8 catches and 53.8 yards per game.

Erik Magnusson was a third-team all-league pick of the media and coaches while fellow lineman Kyle Kalis made the media's third team.

Linemen Graham Glasgow, Mason Cole and Ben Braden all received honorable mention along with receiver Amarah Darboh, quarterback Jake Rudock and running back De'Veon Smith.
