Jakeem Grant earns Big 12 Player of the Week Honors

Patrick Mahomes isn't the only Texas Tech Red Raider taking home some Big 12 hardware for his performance against Sam Houston State on Saturday.

Grant notched 210 all-purpose yards on Saturday and averaged 45.3 yards on kickoff returns. As if the Tech offense wasn't explosive enough already, the special teams doing much of the same is only icing on the cake.

The special teams success is nothing new for Grant. With his return TD Saturday, he cemented his place as the school's all-time leader in career kickoff return touchdowns.
