Jayron Kearse leaving Clemson for the NFL

Jayron Kearse became the latest Clemson star to declare for the NFL Draft on Wednesday. The Tigers safety joined defensive ends Kevin Dodd and Shaq Lawson and fellow safety T.J. Green in forgoing their senior seasons to enter the draft.
Kearse was a key player for the No. 2 Tigers (14-1), as he racked up 62 tackles and an interception this season.

Kearse made the announcement via an Instagram post in which he said: “Coming to Clemson was the best decision I've made in my young career and it has been a great 3 year experience and couldn't have chosen a better university to be apart of.”
