Jerry Neuheisel: UCLA quarterback race still even

Published Aug. 12, 2015 4:22 p.m. ET

UCLA has been in fall camp for all of three days. Reporters continue asking coach Jim Mora and offensive coordinator Noel Mazzone about the quarterback competition.

No starter has been named, though that's not a surprise. But if you ask junior Jerry Neuheisel, he still thinks "it's an even race."

Josh Rosen has taken some first-team reps as didd Mike Fafaul, as expected.

With over a week until UCLA wraps up its camp in San Bernardino, fans can expect Mora to stay mum on naming a starter anytime soon.
