Jim Mora's donation to UCLA reportedly sets a school record

No one can ever again question Jim Mora's commitment to UCLA.

Jim and his wife, Shannon, made a major personal financial commitment toward the Bruins' Wasserman Football Center project.

No figures were disclosed, but UCLA in a release said the Mora family's commitment "stands as the largest donation by a sitting head coach in UCLA history." 

UCLA announced that in honor of their generosity, the school will name the coaches' outdoor terrace in their honor. 

The state-of-the-art facility will break ground on Aug. 27.
