ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) — Kani Kane scored on a 4-yard run with 18 seconds left and Delaware avoided an upset with a 21-16 victory over Albany on Saturday night.

The Blue Hens (7-2, 5-1 Colonial Athletic Association), ranked 16th in the FCS coaches poll, won their fifth straight game, their first five-game win streak since the start of the 2010 season and the first streak of five CAA straight victories since 2004.

Delaware had averaged over 37 points in its previous four wins but found itself trailing 16-15 after Karl Mofor's 4-yard run with 11:44 left for the Great Danes' first lead. Each team then punted twice before Delaware got the ball with 2:35 remaining at its own 17 and drove 11 plays to go ahead.

Kane also had a 1-yard score while Frank Raggo kicked two field goals, one from 50 yards
