The Jayhawks continue to stockpile talent on their offensive line for the future.

According to multiple media outlets, Kansas has received a verbal commitment from Joe Malanga, a 6-foot-4, 295-pound offensive lineman from Snow College in Utah.

"I love the way they're building the program up," Malanga told Scout.com. "They have a new coaching staff there and I could tell that the players are already buying in. I'm very optimistic that we will be very competitive in the Big 12."

Malanga is pumped up to be a Jayhawk and expressed his excitement to join KU's newly revamped football program.

"I loved everything about Kansas," he said. "It's a great college town. They are investing in the program and upgrading the facilities for the future. They have a great coaching staff. Coach David Beaty is the man. He and Coach Yenser impressed me. They got me all fired up.

"They're an energetic staff. They have a ton of enthusiasm. They are very accomplished with what they do. They're ready for me to come in and compete for a starting spot right away at left tackle. They think I'll be an instant impact player for them."
